Cooperation Agreement between Fluid-Bag and Schrader

To better serve our customers we are pleased to announce a cooperation agreement has been reached with Schrader Verfahrenstechnik GmbH based in Ennigerloh, Nordrhein-Westfalen. This means we can offer an alternative technical service back-up to our customers, especially in Germany.

The Schrader company delivers material supply systems to paint-spray lines in many industries, including the automotive industry. These systems are used to convey liquid media from a container to its further use. The range of materials is extensive, from high-viscous underbody coatings to solvents subject to explosion protection. The containers can vary from tankers with over 20,000 l capacity to 0.1 l cartridges.

Schrader’s delivery program covers pump technology, pipings and containers of different sizes. Required peripherals such as the supply of compressed air and auxiliary fluids, control systems or other aids such as cleaning equipment are designed and developed by Schrader. Service mechanics are available at short notice for maintenance work and repairs. This ensures high security for the customers of Schrader and Fluid-Bag.

Schrader, in cooperation with Fluid-Bag, developed an alternative system for conveying viscous materials within the sector of underbody protection, joint sealing and sprayable insulating materials. This system minimizes product residue in the container and permits larger volumes to be conveyed. Today so-called RAM stations are used to convey these materials from conventional 200 l drums or 1,000 l containers.

A round metal plate with pumps is pressed from above into the container. The number of pumps is limited by the space, in this case the diameter of the container. Thus the maximum possible flow rate is also restricted. When using Fluid-Bag containers with a Discharge Roller it is possible to use large volume pumps or multiple pumping stations. This will increase capacity and reduce plant investments.
