Fluid-Bag at Toyota’s Burnaston Plant

Since commissioning in 2007, four 630023 fully-automatic Discharge Roller units have been supplying sound damping materials to the vehicle manufacturing lines at Toyota’s Burnaston Plant in Derbyshire, UK.
The introduction of the Fluid-Bag system has added value to the supply chain of material, and has lived up to the initial expectations on improved container handling, to reduce waste materials and freight costs, but also reducing maintenance costs for the plant.
With today’s focus on developing a greener world, Fluid-Bag and its flexible container solutions bring forward many advantages required by the market.
At Toyota’s Burnaston Plant the materials are delivered in the Fluid-Bag MULTI solution, built on a recyclable but durable and less space requiring steel pallet, to optimize storage and freight costs.
